AC Compressor Safety Switch

I need to add freon to my 2001 L series sedan but the charge is so low the compressor will not come on. How do I jump out the safety switch to make the compressor run and where is the switch located?

you don't need to jump out the pressure switch -- it will kick on when you reach the min pressure.

You do need to stop double posting
