Just got this 2007 Ion 2 and never noticed the passlock light flashing periodically when the engine is off and the car locked...is this normal? I had to replace the micro switch to allow the removal of the key from the ignition. After that, I noticed new chimes when I stated the car and the passlock light began flashing when off and locked. It flashes about every 3-5 seconds. Could not find anything in the online manual regarding this.

 

Do a passlock relearn. Takes like 30 min.

 

If the car starts and runs every time, what would a relearn relearn? Ign, BCM and ecm already peeacefully cooperating. Already did relearn following key issue.....
