Well, I spent a year researching before I bought it. And in 6 days I will have officially owned it a year. I just know the basics I suppose.

... And I did exactly NO redline research. I'll be honest, before I got mine, I was practically heart-set on a twin cam S series(each time I fill up I kinda still wish for an S series)... The L61/LE5 ION was actually a backup, and I never dreamed I would own an LSJ ION...

Its smiles per gallon for a reason!

There isn't as much of a fun factor, but still a little... Bolt on S- cars can hit mid 15s in the 1/4 mile, which equates to a 7.7-7.8 sec 0-60 time, which is about what I can manage with my crappy tune(3psi in 1st, C'MON!), crappy homemade intake(120*IAT1, woot!),etc... Honestly, my intake is completely neutering my car at this point, but it does keep out the water, and I haven't had the chance to swap back to the ZZP and fix the rain issue...

Point is, while I love my redline dearly, I understand where a less finicky N/A S-car could be nearly as fun, and way easier on (regular) fuel...

Ahh, I didn't know there were "Bolt-Ons" for the s cars. I thought it was full build or nothing, Interesting.

Hell, if you still want a 95 sc2 REALLY BAD (odb I ), you might be able to pry it away from me to have as a turbo toy or a v8 RWD conversion.

I have two very well kept candidates in my driveway which alternate as DD so all stays in working order.

Go find some money.
And teach me how to weld.

While I would love an S-car, I can't expand my fleet any further and really need to pare it down(selling the ranger)... The only way to have an S series would be to sell my Redline...which ain't happening...
