Tapping was good.
got the car back together, but I don't think the family would be cool with me starting her up at 230 in the morning. Lmao. I dont care what the neighbors think.
Think I'm going wingless, too. If I have anything to fill the holes.

Hell no. I'm sending that crap back to raybestos. Crap drums. I thought I was loosing my mind.

Glad ride is reconstructed.

aww leave the wing --- it's STOCK man....makes others think it's just another Ion....

plus filling the holes will never look right. I have spoilers on my S cars. They look cool.

They make me feel cool even though I am not.

Plus the extra downforce at 65mph is essential

But the car wants to go back to her home planet!

I should have a few pics up later if I have time.

I want the bumper decal that goes under the SATURN part that says "My other ride is URANUS". I'll see if I can find that picture.

My shop tried telling me I dont know what I'm talking about with the control arm bushings and tranny bushing. He swore the tranny bushings were foe the lca's and the spherical bushings were just wrong.
Does anybody have a ball joint press I can borrow? I'll pay shipping both ways. AutoZone wants 150 to rent one...um no.

I'm telling you... ZZP! They will get your tune right, or at least way closer than you currently are... Did you find out what size injectors you have? Bigger than 60#, but not sure? You will regret selling your IRL, I know it... We all go through a phase of trouble with our IONs... Look at Mandee and myself...

You helped me to not sell mine, now it's my turn to help you...

PLEASE just contact ZZP for a tune... You may have to get a PCM, and it'll need a CASE learn(which I still need to do), but it'll be okay...

If all your parts are good, all the connections are good and tight, then the tune is to blame... Just because the guy has done other cars well, doesn't mean he can properly tune our IRLs...

I looked at the tune file, cross referencing to research I have done online. The numbers looked good.
Im starting to think the throttle body might be bad. I noticed a small gap in the butterfly while cleaning it today.
If I spend any more money on another throttle body, it better be a ported ls4.

And no on the injectors.
Thinking about just buying hpt and tuning it myself.
At least learn how to do so before I add my next list of parts.

Why not just grab a used one from a Colorado/Trailblazer to test with? Where's the harm?
