I cut off a piece of an old spark plug wire boot and used a metal washer behind it. also put a little silicone grease in the newly created socket. Works great.
derf, unfortunately, I don't think it's the same. The bushing/retainer I'm looking for holds the Clutch Master Cylinder rod in place against the pedal. I think the post you referenced is the base plate that clips to the back of the pedal.
To me it looks like a ball and socket joint. Here's a better diagram of what I can tell:
O2 LW300, I took a look at OEMcats. I can find the part there, but when I add to cart, it forwards me to one of 71 shops. Sadly, each shop site I go to shows it as unavailable for purchase.
Did anyone have any luck finding this or finding the clutch assembly with it included??.
They come with the pedal. I have found em on eBay before, from our brothers across the pond if I remember right.
I think ottp started selling them as well.
We need to design these niche parts for the older cars that cost $0.15 to make and sell them for $40 like these folks. After just one year, we will have made eight sales and we will be rich.
