So... if my gas gauge is correct I'm getting about 100 extra miles per tank. I really hope it's right, because going to Memphis it usually took half a tank. It only took a quarter to get up here. My mind is blown if it actually stays true to the end of the tank.

It is possible. Run some fuel injector cleaner through her and change the fuel filter.

I agree with Billy. I prefer the Techron brand of fuel injector cleaner. You can get it at your local Wallyworld.

The Ion went into low power mode today, any other ideas what to do to fix it? It may take me awhile to respond, I'll be really busy at work the next few days.

I'm making fun of all of you. I sat in Rj's driveway drinking beer as his Daughter tackled another fix on her 2007 ION. She cleaned her throttle body. When done she road rested it, came back and told her Dad it's better but still has a problem. Rj told her to clean if again, but good this time. She gave him the stink eye and went to work. When done the car ran fine, and has been going without a glitch. Damn I love my niece, kinda scared of that stink eye she gave Rj though.

Rj told her if the problem came back within a couple weeks she needs a new tb with tps.

Clean that thing man ...... clean it.

Scrub it again. I can find you another TB if it comes down to that.
