Sounds cool... So, now I'm looking for a tire and possibly a wheel... I had a flat while driving, and had to drive maybe half a mile or so(at 20mph or less) without air before I could work on the tire... when the tire was aired up, I had a severe shake at 50mph... Now, there were three big knots on the inside sidewall, so maybe the wheel is fine, and the tire ruined, but I don't know yet...

Sounds like the belts shifted.
The rim should be good, being the rubber was protecting it and you were going slow enough.

Wheel was fine... Got two used front tires(Pirelli P6 four seasons 235/45-17), and I'm rolling again... Yes there are 235s in the front and 225s in the rear, I figured the extra width would help with traction... Nope! These tires suck... Glad I only paid $40 for the pair...

Still better than my 4 basically bald tires. That are 3 different brands, and directionals. lmao

I meant trim panels. And thought of one of you getting up to and staying at 50 mph w that tire shake freaks me out only slightly more than the the other of you two driving a redline on bald tires. No reputable tire place should have remounted that tire after 1/2 mi driving on the sidewalls. And those kinds of blowouts are the ones that send you in an uncontrollable direction without notice.

Please dudes, pursuing a dream loses all meaning if you're dead.

Yes, grandpa derf worries about you.

Not trying to make excuses, but I'm waiting for the ones I want to go on sale. Unless my second choice goes on sale first.
I don't drive the car more then 12 miles round trip, and haven't even put 300miles on it the year I've owned it.

just lookin out for my friends.

If a redline is anywhere near as fun as driving the last Sky redline on my dealer's lot before they shut down on a 1.5 hour "go have fun come back whenever" drive was, (and that's only turbo'ed), I just don't want you guys getting hurt---plain n simple.

Wouldn't bring it up if I didn't care.
