Received the AC Delco o2 sensor from Amazon on Tuesday. Installed it, drove the car to & from work, check engine went out (on it's own) last night, passed emission test this morning. Thanks for your help guys.

Damn -- an AC Delco part that works as advertised.
Bosch is **** for S cars as well (use Denso OEM equivalent)

Bet AC Delco is a rebranded Denso.

Glad to hear you are back on the road.

Since it you never cleared codes, the light going out means part of the emissions drive cycle re ran the related emissions test. However, if it made any of the other monitor tests "not ready", you will not pass inspection until all of the monitor tests have been run. Not saying this IS the case, just MIGHT want to check I/M readiness status before returning to Inspection station

Autozone or similar should be able to check I/M readinesnthis while checking codes.
If there are any PENDING codes (Pxxxxp), I think you may fail. You may need to clear them and let the car rerun all drive cycle tests to get all of the I/M monitors ready.

All of the above is precautionary -- lots of maybes. Just trying to help
