Default 05 2.2 cylinder misfire

This one has me scratching my head. Two cylinders are cutting out a minute or two after starting.
Had a problem with two cylinder cutting out intermittently in March. Replaced the ICM and the coil packs with no luck. Ended up fixing the problem by greasing all the connections on the ICM good. Started doing it again two mornings ago but seemed to stop when it warmed up. Figured it was the nasty triple H weather we were having here in the northeast. It's gotten progressively worse and will start to misfire a minute or two after starting.
I replaced the ICM again, tested it by using a meter on the pins while someone cranked. I've also have done resistance tests on the coil packs. All looks good.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Greg

Thinking. I wonder if it is fuel not spark. Older sequential injection systems started as batch then switched to sequence after a few seconds on a cold start. Just thinking out loud.
Welcome, please tell us about your car. Ion, L200, Vue?

Thanks for the reply. It's an 05 Ion. A bit if a beater car but gets great gas mileage. I travel over 60 miles a day to work. 5 speed standard.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot the fuel system? I've pressure tested it in the past.

Does it misfire bad enough and long enough to set trouble codes? Can you identify which cylinders misfire? If so that is a start you can move injectors and see if the misfire follows the injector.

Good idea. I m about to go try to figure out which cylinders are misfiring by disconnecting the injector plugs one at a time.
Thanks for the replies
