Exclamation Speedometer isn't accurate

Hi fellow Saturn owners. I just purchased a 1996 SC2 and the speedometer reads about 10%-15% under the actual speed. The previous owner thinks that it was hit during a dashboard repair long ago and has been wrong ever since. BTW, I know that the 15" wheels are original.

Any thoughts on how this can be fixed? Does the speedometer have settings that I can change to correct this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If the speedometer head has been damaged (pointer bent), you have to replace the head. Check eBay or your local wrecking yards ...

Maybe a bad vehicle speed sensor?
