Default fuel pump

so my 99 sc1 decided that it was gunna poop out the fuel pump over night. any sugestions on what brand i should by???

i'm an oem guy

but never replaced an S car fuel pump (just double jinxed my 2 SC2's)

they've gone 225K+ and counting

I agree with derf, OEM is your best bet
but
I saw a page on another website with fuel pumps that you can use, Ill have to go digging and find it, but im at my aunts in georgia for the week and her internet is butt, so it might take awhile

I agree with derf and Octavious. I have a Saturn with 234k still operating with the original fuel pump. That's a pretty reliable part on S series cars.

well guys i thank you. but i hate to say this. it wasnt the fuel pump. it was my radio fuse!!!!! i know i know your thinkin WTF! he doesnt know what he is talking about. but seriously it was the radio fuse. i dont know what the deal is. some type of eletrical, but now a bigger problem, i got tranz fluid leaking onto my exhaust. now im scared to search for a problem

sounds like a seal is broken somewhere

Have you checked the filter to make sure it's tight and not blowing fluid out around the seal and back onto the engine? That's what I like about the filters. Spin on and off like an oil filter. Great idea!

No filter on a manual transmission i'm pretty sure

your right no filter. but i work ten to six everyday. so when i get home its dark. but i have off tommorow(friday) so im gunna tow to the garage i work at so i can see whats f-ed up
