Default Coolant Leak Need Help ASAP

I have a coolant leak and it looks like its coming from the area of where the hose (the upper driverside hose) connects to the radiator. Its leaking pretty bad, it ends up spraying onto my trans and that side of the engine bay. It looks like its coming from the hose by the way the coolant is sprayed in the bay. Any information or ideas help. Thanks.

Pull the hose off and check to see if the rad is cracked there or if the hose has given up the ghost after 15 years of service. Sometimes they get soft, sometimes they get brittle and then just don't seal properly.

And please catch the coolant that gushes out and dispose of properly. No need to kill neighborhood pets.

Derf has you looking in the right area, but you are the one with eyes on the problem. Remove the hose, and look ...

Default Electrical Tape

I found a crack in the hose under the fastener when mine leaked. I just wrapped it in electrical Tape and cranked it down. You could also try cutting the rip off if it's close to the edge.
