Question Alternator Replacement

I was actually wondering on a scale of 1 to 10 how hard and annoying this will be.

ALSO, I have a FelPro Intake Manifold Gasket waiting for me to put in. I figured since my alternator is on the fritz and since it's in that location by the Power Steering pump would it make it easier to access since I will be replacing alternator?

Also, is there a how-to guide if possible. I'd rather play it safe and I'd rather get to know my beauty. 160k on it, paid $1300. Tune-up on everything, new sensors, etc;

Then realized the vacuum leak at cyclinder 1 and especially if I look right into there I can actually SEE the crinkle on the gasket. It starts hissing severely when replaced Throttle body gasket and properly sealed it.

ALSO, The stupid coffee can precat, is it cool if I chop it out and replace with a straight pipe? or no?

Update: Well, replaced alternator but the battery did not have enough charge to fire it up so it's stuck in a parking lot for tonight. Lol.

Most parts stores here will charge your battery for free. Especially if you got it from them or buy an alternator!
