Okay Guys, I'm in need of a more economical ride for my son, so I'm willing to sell my GT Turbo or trade it straight up for a decent Saturn 4-door car. This car has the 2.4 Turbo with 205 hp @ 5600 rpm and it pushes 240 lb.ft. of torque at only 3600 rpm. I'd like to have an S series because I like the 1.9 engine, but I'd go with something with the 2.2 if need be. It's got to be automatic, with working a/c. I'd like the interior to be in good shape, because the GT has a very nice interior, but as long as it's a nice car, I'd take one that needs seat covers. Main thing is the economy. The GT gets around 22 mpg, but he's driving 120 miles a day round trip and the gas bill is getting to him. I'd like to help him out. If someone wanted to buy the GT, I'd let it go for $2200. It's not perfect, and could use some LCA bushings, but I'm broke and can't afford to replace them. I'm not asking for a show car trade as mine isn't show quality either. It's got a couple of clear coat issue spots and normal wear and tear for a 13 year old car. So, the ball's in your court. Anybody wanna play?

Here are some pics for now. I have added a different front bumper (faded black) with the fog lights. Fog lights ARE functional. And I've also replaced the front fender with one the same color without the paint peel. The car is really a 20 footer. It looks better in the photos (exterior) than it does up close.

Well, I won't hold my breath. I think I'll put it on craigslist here for sale or trade and see what happens.

 

Rube, we're also working behind the scenes to develop a forum wide "minimum listing requirements" list so that our classifieds stop getting filled up w 1 time posts by people who then get banned for less than the initial 10 posts, but no one who comes along can contact them since they are banned and can't be pm'd, and there is no email listed so it is impossible to contact them and the listing becomes a waste after 10 days.

Pls list you email as djfjr * at * gmail dot com. It helps keep the spammers from collecting your email address and sending you spam. You can even create another gmail account to use solely for things like this. Hell I have 3 Comcast's and a gmail that all get used for diff things, though I pretty much use only 2 at this point.


Also please attach the pictures directly to the post, not a hyperlink, as this way the vehicle pix and the post stay together forever.

Nahhhhhh, that's just too much trouble for me, derf. I really don't care who gets it, I just want to get something different that's more economical. I'll talk to Philip (my son) and see if he wants to field some questions about it or not. If not, I'll just list it on craigslist next week and see what happens. I have an impending foot surgery coming up on the 15th and probably won't be driving for a few days. The wife is going to be driving and I want to get it done before then, if possible. She can't handle the power of the turbo.

 

How about a 200 swap w the son?

 

Both cars belong to me. I'm just letting him drive the 200 to save on gas. He doesn't have a pot to **** in nor a window to throw it out of.
