Default Time Waster of the Day!

After having delved into the annals (hope I spelled that right) of YouTube looking for repair videos, I came across some gems for those of us who like to reminisce about the old days.

Saturn SC in Comparo Shootout!

I think it's telling that the SC is the only one I ever see driving around nowadays. Maybe a Paseo in a blue moon.

GM in 1996!

The first thought that came to my mind after watching this was, "So that's what they look like without all the rust!"

Am I the only one who think some of these still look good?

2008 New Vue for You!

Oh God! I need sunglasses for that color! Shame on GM for trying to sell this again as the Chevy Captiva during the last few years!

Any Astra owners?

That coupe looks really nice. Shame the dash is so convoluted.

Shame on them? They took everything good that came out of saturn (or took back everything they gave saturn depending on your point of view) and used it to revamp the rest of the company's crappy lineup.

I see Captivas left n right. But if it had a Saturn badge, no one would touch it---because GM did nothing to manage the Brand's image after the initial marketing blitz.

Now you just pay less for it because it's a Chevy and they took away that engine/Tranny combo. No fun to drive anymore. Better gas mileage though.
If I know GM, they're still using up their stock of design flawed 6T70 and 6T75 auto trannys for that vehicle and others across GM, claiming it's ok b/c they will offer you 10/100K extended warrant on 3 5 R waveplate issue.

That's what I want with my brand new ride. An immediate extended warranty on a known defective part you knowingly installed i my brand new vehicle. Oh wait, it's a TSB -- GM doesn't even have to tell you.

Wy wife and I had that 3.6 V6---w that HP n torque. It was way heavier a vehicle than it should have been but still hauled butt when you put your foot down.
