Wasn't born yet. Just do me a favor and keep your rubber away from me.

Want me to dig into some relative obscurity? The key term being relative.

If you're listening to this song
You may think the chords are going wrong
But they're not
He just wrote it like that

When you're listening late at night
You may think the band are not quite right
But they are
They just play it like that

You weren't born yet for Red Rubber Ball (Paul Simon co-wrote that), but you remember a George Harrison written Beatles tune? That doesn't compute! LOL

Ok! So I’m not sure if I posted about this one already or not but I didn’t see where anybody did so I’m saying this song is concrete blond...I’m singing it as I read it but can’t remember the name of this one...is it bloodletting?

Default Season #3: love this song too!

The world was on fire and no one could save me but you.
It's strange what desire will make foolish people do.
I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you.
And I never dreamed that I knew somebody like you.
No, I don't want to fall in love.
No, I don't want to fall in love.
With you. With you.
What a wicked game to play, to make me feel this way.
What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you.
What a wicked thing to say, you never felt that way.
What a wicked thing to do, to make me dream of you and,
No, I don't want to fall in love.
No, I don't want to fall in love.
With you.
With you.
The world was on fire and no one could save me but you.
It's strange what desire will make foolish people do.
I never dreamed that I'd need somebody like you.
And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you no,
No, I don't want to fall in love.
No, I don't want to fall in love.
No I
No I
Nobody loves no one.

Chris Issak. And yep, that's Concrete Blonde, Bloodletting. One of my favorite bands. I actually got to see them in concert in Nashville years ago. I really like the the song Caroline that they do too.

There you stood on the edge of your feather,
Expecting to fly.
While I laughed, I wondered whether
I could wave goodbye,
Knowin' that you'd gone.
By the summer it was healing,
We had said goodbye.
All the years we'd spent with feeling
Ended with a cry,
Babe, ended with a cry,
Babe, ended with a cry.

I tried so hard to stand
As I stumbled and fell to the ground.
So hard to laugh as I fumbled
And reached for the love I found,
Knowin' it was gone.
If I never lived without you,
Now you know I'd die.
If I never said I loved you,
Now you know I'd try,
Babe, now you know I'd try.
Babe, now you know I'd try,
Babe.

Can I guess on that one, derf? I THINK I know it, but am not sure. If I'm right it's a Canadian dude. If not, then I'm not too sure.

the gentleman singing the lyrics was born in Canada, but this song is one of the first he ever sang vocals on ( I think he wrote it)
Seeking the band name (it was recorded with this band)

In the meantime

Sit down I think I love ya.......

Buffalo Springfield, if that's Neil Young.
