Impending storm

I'm too far West to be affected but news on the radio indicated it is a monstor of a problem and a lot of people are going to have a hard time. Also a lot of people are clueless as to how bad it is going to get.
Good Luck comming out the other side.

Haha I was fine I posted one post before yours lolol. We lost power but ran the genorator for 1 day and a half and then the power came back. No trees came down in my yard surprisingly but like I said long branch is a warzone.

hey I don't read the previous posts...
Glad you're ok
I borrowed power from my neighbor's huge *** generator.
I ran about 125ft of OUTDOOR extension cord right across the street.
Kinda redneck but served the purpose.
I gave him 5 gal of gas as a thank you.
Saved the fridge and my cat's insulin (which lived in rotating fridges on the block)
Gas is like liquid gold.
I've got an emergency 6 gal in my garage.
Makes me wish the 08 Vue w the 3.6 got more than 22 on the highway

I've been collecting wood for a few days. I am set for a while.
This storm is all the more reason to move to the south west. I am stepping up my efforts. I am tired of moving out and back in for every big storm. Plus I hate the cold more every year. I guess a sign of getting older.

Aw, It's o.k. out here in the SW. It's hot a lot and during the summer it warms us some. No earthquakes, hurricanes or rain, Average rain fall here is about 9 inches a year and for the last couple of years it does not meet that. We have monsoons, but in name only. Dust storms can be had far more than you can manginess but when you live where dust is a bumper crop that is to be expected. Now that winter is showing it's mangy presence it has gotten chili. At the moment it had dropped all the way down to 58 degrees.
Plenty of things to do. You can drive to winter if you wish, it is North of here some where and cold so I have been told. About 10 years ago I drove to flagstaff and saw a snow shovel. Strange beast that it is.
We are getting ready for the Phoenix Swap Meet, a newly instituted entertainment venue. I vended at it last year and spent 3 days camping in a pop up while at my booth. I'll pass on this one but will think about January.
