Hey echo1, which six was in that 81 E100?
My 78 F150 had the 300 and I absolutely loved it.

Ya, it was a 300. I don't know how I forgot about that one. I had it for 12 years and put over 300K miles on it. Easy to get 20mpg. It was my video production truck, that I could pull the gear out, and install seats for 12. hauled a bunch of kids all over hell and gone.
Another I forgot, '86 S10 Blazer, and a Meyers Manx. PAX

My first was a '84 Trans Am (I grew watching with KITT on Knight Rider), bought in '93. It had been modified, according to the previous owner, to be a getaway car and used in a bank robbery. They'd pulled the 5-speed manual and replaced it with the '85 Grand Prix 5-sp, so the getting off the line was like lightning. Of course that meant lots of trouble getting the right parts when something went bad, because I didn't realize at first, for example, which starter or master clutch cylinder would be required during repairs!

I met a guy when I first moved out to Kali's central valley in '76, Bill Litt, who had a '35 Mercedes 170, with original paint. In the back it had a stringing arc of 5 .45 cal bullet holes from a Tommy gun. It had been shot up during a bank job some where in the Midwest, or so the story went. PAX

Age 16- 1988 Ford Ranger S, 2wd, 2.0/5speed... Inherited from my grandfather, drove for about 50k, modded along the way, then sold to a friend who wrecked it...

Age 19- 2005 Suzuki Forenza S, manual trans... First car I bought myself... Had 48,009 miles at purchase, then it was ruined by an incompetent mechanic, I traded it at 64,530 miles...

Age 19- 2000 Saturn SL1, automatic trans... Bought for my wife after she wrecked her tracker... She proceeded to run it out of oil multiple times, it spun a rod bearing at 95,230 miles

Age 19- 1995 Ford Ranger XL, 2wd, 4.0/5speed... Bought to replace my old ranger... I still have it...
Age 19- 2002 Saturn L200, automatic trans... Bought for my wife to replace the S series, it had 250k on it... A few short months later, it died with 262k on it... Timing chain tensioner/guide failure..,

Age 20- 2011 Chevrolet Cruze 1LT, turbo, automatic... Bought for my wife to replace the last Saturn... Traded in at 50,750 miles when coolant usage issue was discovered...

Age 21- 1995 Ford Taurus GL, Vulcan powered... Bought as a winter beater, was an incredible deal(rust free and needed very little) for $800... Sold to my mother, then she wrecked it

Age 21-2015 Subaru Impreza 2.0i... Bought for my wife to replace the Chevy... Had 35 miles when the paperwork was signed, has nearly 11k now, less than six months into ownership

Age 21- 2004 Saturn ION RedLine, ZZP-S3... Bought for myself because I didn't care for the Taurus... I had a great 10k miles with it(though not without issues), and then the engine failed... My fault
I'm sure more to come... I'm not excited about driving a 2wd truck in the winters here, which can get bad, were it not for my job I would just stay home if there was snow on the road...

I've only owned one car that was 100% mine and Thats my 2007 Saturn ion which is dead right now. Here's some of the vehicles I've co-owned in the part, no specific order.

1995 Chevy Silverado crew cab my dad bought it when I was 5 and I traded him for it when I was 18 with 240,000 miles on it.

1995 Chevy conversation van, which is What I have my dad for his truck.

1995 grand am

1995 Pontiac firebird formula pissed off a lot of old people with that car.

1998 Oldsmobile sillhouette, miss that mini van. It ended up with electrical issues

1997 Lincoln towncar

1997 ford explorer we bought from the junk yard and replaced the transmission and then we sold it.

1988 ford bronco some dude bought it and turned the body into a weird car. Lol

1995 Honda civic. Great little car we bought for cheap and then sold it for much more a while later and the last wrecked it.

1998 grand am gt that I'm driving now.

I think that's it But I'm not positive. Lol

1969 Dodge Dart with the 440 from the Super Bee
1980 Mercury Capri with a 351 stroker motor (fun car)
2004 Saturn Ion
