Any other surfers on this forum?
Just wondering if any of you Saturn guys are also surfers? I've been at it for about 20 years or so, surfing mostly around the Great Lakes but also up and down the East cost and on trips. This photo was taken in Lake Erie near Port Colborne on a decent 'lake' day.
Anyway, I can fit my shorter boards in the Saturn SL with the back seats folded down, but I wonder if any of you have experience with putting a roof rack on an SL Sedan? I have a couple of good roof racks I had for previous vehicles, but neither of them fit the roof profile of the SL well enough for me to feel confident in them. It'd be nice to be able to bring my longboard with me strapped to the roof...

frankly I do not remember at this point as the only sedan I had was a 92 sl2. But any small differences will obviously cause you problems. Just tryin to help
Oh, and I could never really swim as a child as I was spindly w no body fat and sunk like a rock as soon as I stopped moving. So entering a seemingly infinite body of water to stand on a board and not fall off in the deep parts never really appealed to me. But it must be quite a rush as the videos I've seen from those GoPro cameras mounted on the ends of boards are pretty damn cool.
