Default Turbo questions

I have a few questions for DropDead and Bones. I am looking a high pressure 2005 Saab 9-3/5 He says it runs fine but the clutch is out. I realize the late 9-3 is an Epsilon chassis not the 2900 chassis that I have. The F35 is a cable shift not the rod shift that I have but I can change the case and make that part work.
So the real question is engine controls. Will the L61 run the turbo engine if I use all the sensors and run premium fuel? Will it live if I am nice to it or does it need some spark retard while under boost conditions? How much timing control does the knock sensor have?
Or do I need to run Saab controls and try to keep my BCM happy so I have traction control ETC?
Just thinking about more power.....

I have most of what youd need from a b207.
also, hptuner can tune it for you. If just using a td04 you'll be fine on a conservative tune.
you wan any saab 04-07
03 was a split year body style change

So it begins. 2007 Saab 9-3 2.0T/F40 six speed. B207R=210 hp Ecotec. This will all go in my 02 L200 leather car.

Why not just replace the clutch in the Saab and drive it, Andy? It looks to be in pretty damned good shape to me.

I am buried in L series cars and parts. I have towbar brackets for two cars and more spares than I care to mention. I am really happy with my L200 and another 80 hp and another gear will only make it better. It is my last car if you get what I mean. There is no title to the Saab so it is just parts, I did get a bill of sale and it came from Washington state. I will put the engine from my car into another for one of my grand daughters. The Saab even came with another set of the wheels I run with nice tires on them. My car was designed by GM Europe and the Saab 93 up to 03 and the 95 all the way to the end share the same chassis as my L200.

All you had to say was NO TITLE. I get it. LOL And with all the parts you have for L series Saturns, you could probably make money by re-selling them.
