Question Saturn Homecomings of Past and Present -- for an article

Hi,
I'm a journalist and longtime Saturn owner, currently with a 2008 VUE. I have only ever owned Saturn cars, in fact, and at one point, every person in my family owned Saturn cars. I love them and am still heartbroken that they stopped manufacturing them.

I found this forum because I am interested in doing a story on the Saturn Homecomings of past ... and to see if anyone knows if any Saturn owners might happen to still gather to talk about their love of the car?

Does anyone here have any information that might help me? You can email me directly at

Thank you!
Jodie

Jodie --

I removed your email address from your post so that every bot scanning the internet doesn't spam the bejesus out of you. Look at my signature and type in your email address info like that so that it can't be scammed by bots.

Why did I not just fix yours?
Gotta see if you are a real person.

Also -- saturnfans.com has about 15K members. MANY more of those have attended homecomings. That is where you want to go for stories.

I had a female roommate back in the 80's and after I broke her heart and married my wife (and NOT her), she later got married and she and her husband bought a Saturn S series sedan. They were on their way to a Saturn homecoming and someone ran through a 4 way stop and hit the driver side of the car right between the front and rear. Phil had to be cut out of the car, but he only suffered some minor cuts and bruises. They didn't make the homecoming, but thank God that Phil was all right and Catherine insisted that they get another Saturn, which they did. They never went to another homecoming.

I ran with the Geo Metro bunch for many years and went to many joint Metro/ Suzuki Swift Gt runs in the Pacific North West. We could get a bunch from Western Canada and from all over the PNW. 30-50 cars. The Geo Metro Forum group still gathers in Ohio and draws cars from all over the country. The Geo Metros are rusting away and there are less cars every year.
