When I washed my car I took off the hub caps and washed them down with tire cleaner and soap. When I got home I used a degreaser, brake cleaner will work as well, to fully clean them and wipe them free of brake dust. Sanded down with a fine grit, and then applied about 3 coats on each. Didn't even use clear coat, but if you want it to last a while I suggest clear coat. They will lose the shine in about a month if not. Thanks bud!

Hey Rube I rather see picture in the threads, and in albums. To be honest I forget to look in the bloody gallery. Jason go look for a set of chrome trim rings and lug nuts for those wheels. It's a classic good look and cheap on top of it. Paint the center hub with chrome paint to add to the look if you like, or silver to match the car. I did just that to my bright red SL2 taking off the 17's before I sold it.
