In the process of buying my first Saturn

If you don't know and trust any mechanics, then I'd suggest you try to find a service manual for your car (if you ever get it), and study it. There are a lot of things you can do yourself if you don't mind getting your hands dirty and have a good tool box.

Sounds like you've got it all under control then. Kudos to you and thanks for being open minded about the suggestions you find here. Some folks are just a tad "sensitive" and seem to get their feelings hurt if someone doesn't immediately know the answer. And to those people, I say, "Good Day!" LOL

I am always open to suggestions. I have no reason to complain, yall are offering y'alls help to me for free why would I complain!? lol
SHOULD be getting my car Monday. Almost got it today but DMV closed before I could get to it. So fingers crossed Monday goes better than today lol. Well as for my VIN when the insurance lady looked it up in her system I indeed am getting a 2007 Saturn Ion-3 !!! Yay newest car EVER owned by me! haha
