Angry newbe

Just signed up to look for issues with my 2006 saturn vue base 3.5 liter AWD. Having problems with the variable timing module. Trying to locate parts but it seems where ever I go It is discontinued. I can find the solenoid and the gasket but not the pressure switch. Would like to change out the whole VVT unit and Honda says it should be the same unit used on the 2006 honda. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated if you can direct me in the direction of parts available. I have a code of p2647 that indicates problem with VVT.

What's it look like? I have a spare engine I can sell parts off of. If I have it I'll post a picture

good evening Drop Dead: Thanks for you reply. If you have a 3.5 liter engine it is what the oil filter is attached to. It has one solenoid and one pressure switch also. It's purpose is to adjust the valve timing while heavy exceleration. When it goes bad it starts causing the car to buck and hesitate when you excelerate rapidly and limits your top speed.

I'll be over there this evening and I'll take a look at it for you. And of course post a picture to make sure its what you need.
I need another distraction to keep me from installing the motor back in my ion 🤣
