Used oil is just that. USED. If it's not in good enough shape to properly lubricate someone else's engine, why would it be ok to lubricate his S car engine?

Not sure why he'd want to ride on the original suspension for 300K+ miles; that's about 200K+ miles too long, unless he was seeking a spine injury.

That reminds me to put new struts on my shopping list. 190k all original! Not even dragging on the ground or bouncing like a Inflate-a-castle!

kyb gr2 s . Do NOT use Monroe mounting hardware> If you do, you have no one to blame but yourself. Reuse upper rear mounts.
Front upper mounts -- I replaced with OEM--came with new bearings. After 200K, the existing ones are likely to come apart spewing ball bearings all over the place.

Also, you must reuse the bearing cups (front of course)

These cars are light enough that spring replacement is not needed unless damaged.
