Default Hi all, new to form and Saturn from Pa.

Just purchased a 95 sc2 a few days ago with 161,000 on it, drove it for the last few days and really liking it. I am going to work it a little so needless to say since I know nothing about Saturn's or this type of car, am a classic and muscle head and will be needing as much help and advise I can get.

Welcome to the forum, Jeff. The main thing you need to do is keep a close eye on you oil level. The 1.9 DOHC seems to use oil for some reason. I have a 95 SC1 and it has the SOHC. I've been nearly 3,000 miles since changing the oil and it's about a half quart low now. I can live with that. Enjoy your car and happy motoring.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am enjoying the car a lot more than I thought I would, fun little car to throw around. This car does handle very well. Now I need to get a little more horse power lol.

Welcome to the Forum, and oh by the way, very limited avenues for you to "muscle-up" these cars ...

Yea, unfortunately kind of gathered that from browsing around the forum. I was hoping maybe 30 - 50 hp with some head work and a motor refresh new cams etc. If not I guess I will have to settle with some customizing, body kit, paint and whatever else. It does have enough pep to get around town and highway usage and pretty good fuel economy.
