Default Hello everyone !

Hi! I'm from Canada, Québec precisely and I'm happy to have found this place! I have not yet owned a Saturn, but I've always been interested by the brand, which is why I'm coming here to share this interest. I plan on buying one later this summer and I figured this forum will help me make a decision on which models I should pursue as well as acquiring knowledge about this brand gone too soon. I'm eager to talk to all of you.
Cheers!

Welcome, which models do you see still driving around? The last models made were shared GM models.

Probably a first generation Vue, Ion or an L or S series if I manage to find them where I live. It can be difficult at times.

Welcome.

S series parts are getting harder and harder to find. The oem stock for major things is all but gone.

If you folks salt the roads, most have likely already rusted out their frames and been cannibalized to keep others running.

Stay the hell away from 03 04 with the CVT, if you actually even find one running. Non cvts are ok.

If you do decide to buy, go visit the dry southern states where the cars don't rust, buy it there, and drive it home......

Unless you can find a manual shift Vue, stay away from them. The automatic transmission versions seem to ALL suffer failures. It's a waveplate issue that GM NEVER wanted to cover, but were forced to. If you get an S series vehicle or an L series, there's a couple of guys here that know them front to back and top to bottom. I'm not one of those guys.
