I just lost the shifter bushing in my 98 SC2 and have read the 30+ pages of comments, and am wondering about the replacement options. What has lasted the longest, steel, plastic, or nylon? And how does the Motormite option compare to Jerry's replacement? Or does the bolt and washer work just as well. I commute to work everyday and I need the best replacemnt, because driving my dodge 4x4 will break me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx!!!Edited by: sw2cam

 

I just replace the cables. They're pretty inexpensive at rockauto.com.
