Default speedometor and tactometor lights out

i have speedometor and tactometor lights out and wondering how to fix them. also, lights on my dashboard are out. how can i fix them? if possible send me pictures on how to diassemble it and put it back together. also, what light bulbs i can use to make them brighter, if any. please send as soon as possible.

year and model?

have you checked fuses?

Yeah - year and model would be a help with this ...

Brighter bulbs = more heat = more current. Maybe not a good idea ...

As I recall, the power for the instrument lighting comes from the parking lamp fuse(10A) located in the underhood fuse block. From there, it feeds to the Body Control Module (BCM), and is controlled by the dimmer **** located on the dash. A failed (open) dimmer will keep the lights off all the time while a shorted dimmer will have the lights at full brightness. Of course, it's always possible that the BCM is bad ....

I'd check the fuse first, then the dimmer, then make sure the dimmer is seeing voltage. Oh, also, make sure the dimmer is not set to minimum. If all these things are good, then I'd disassemble the dash, and start checking the lights ....
