Chugs on cold start. 2000 Saturn SL2

Default Chugs on cold start. 2000 Saturn SL2

my Saturn has been chugging on a cold start for about 3 weeks and got worse until it die start at all. mechanic did oil change (I've been using synthetic. for a year and a half) and a tune up and made a cylinder adjustment. he said low compression. $260 later and still chugging on cold start. please help.

Welcome to the forum and what the hell is a cylinder adjustment? I've been working on my own cars for over 40 years and have never heard of such a thing. Perhaps you have a faulty coil, plug or plug wire. I'd start with those items and see what happens. Make sure you use whatever the OEM type and # plugs. Aftermarket plugs suck. The engineers put a specific plug in these cars for a reason.

I know, Joe, but "cylinder adjustment" to me means an adjustment to DebbieK's bank account and that's all.
