2001 Saturn LW300 water pump replacement
#11
Damn, I guess I'd better get outside and see if I can get the valve body out of my Mitsubishi and take it apart and clean it. I'm hesitant because of all of the springs and check ***** in it, but I just want to clean it and put it back together and hope it works. I'm having a delay in the shift from R to D after doing a fluid and filter change and hope that the new fluid just knocked some dirt loose in the valve body. The fluid in it was black, so I thought I'd change it. No telling what the hell happened. If the valve body cleaning doesn't work, I MIGHT try a junkyard one. If that doesn't work, I guess I'll be scrapping a car.

Never give up. It's just a hunk of steel and plastic put together by someone else, so there's no reason to scrap it when a little research and elbow grease will fix the problem.
Personally, I'm one of those who hates to throw anything away when it can be fixed.
