My 03 l200 lights pause and flash when I switch from bright to dim or visa versa and also the security light comes on and stays for a couple seconds then goes back off. Can anyone help me understand this. Im pretty good with mechanic issues but this has me stumped

I'm neither an electrician nor a mechanic, but it sounds like a faulty ground or loose connection in the headlight switch to me. Hang around because Andy is our resident L series guru and I'm sure he'll see this and try to help you. Be patient.

Okay, Kracker13. You heard that I thought it might be the headlight switch and our resident L Series guru (and a REAL mechanic) gave you a link as to where to get one,so it appears that Andy agrees with me. That's a cheap and easy fix. Come back and let us know what you decide.
