<DIV id=post_message_605730>Lift the car up on jack stands, remove the passenger side wheel and splash guards. Put the jack under the oil pan and put enough tension to support the engine without lifting it. Then remove the upper mount and lower dogbone mount. Now you can lift the engine up and down with the jack to gain access to all the bolts. Drop the engine to get access to the pulley bolts. Its much easier to remove these with an impact gun, but can be done by either leaving the belt on or using a strap wrench. The bottom bolts of the pump can be easily reached by lowering the engine all the way, and the top bolts by lifting the engine all the way.

Replacement shouldn't really take more than a half hour to 45 minutes.</DIV>Edited by: Low Saturn

The Saturn water pump uses a preformed silicone gasket.
