Have a Saturn Ion 3, sometimes when I try to turn off the car, the key will stop at the accessory position. I have a hard time trying to turn it off. I keep turning it back and forth many times till it will finally go to the off position and pull the key out. This also happens with the spare key. Any ideas?

Not sure, but suspect the switch inside the lock assembly that senses whether the key is inserted has become bent. Best suggestion is to have the key/lock assembly replaced

Lock and tumbler

Many times the clip pops up and that causes the key to hang. If you know how to pull the tumbler it can be put back into place with a hammer and punch. That does not mean beat the hell out of it.
