The price of shipping will be more than what you could fine one locally. I'm pretty sure there ar pick-n-pulls in southern California.

Try listing it locally. Shipping an engine will be a PITA. I've sold a couple that way. Pick them up at the junkyard for $64.98 on a half priced weekend and sell them on craigslist the next day for $200.
