what snow tire do people run?

Well i ended up going with a 185/65/15 nexen winguard tire. Had them listed for 250 new and shipped. Should be in early next week. I needed them desperatly yesterday.

Never ran snow tires on the car, only all seasons. The generals I had (Altimax rt) we're decent, but anything over 3" I just didn't bother. I've thought about getting the winter version of the altimaxes but I had a truck at that point. Now if I can stuff a pair of duratracs under the next one that would be cool haha

The Duratracs look like good tread for snow and off road stuff... Were I still driving my old Ranger, I would have considered them... Here in WV winter tires are nearly a must, as every winter brings at least one good storm, and usually it's when I'm at work...
