Default wiring pinouts

Replacing a crank sensor on a 09 vue xe awd and got stung with a burned/melted connector. With no room to spice in a new one, figured I would re-wire back to the ecm.. I can't tell the wiring color codes on the sensor connector. one is white with a black tracer, but it's so melted I can't tell which terminal its assigned. Also, could use some help locating pins 2, 68 & 69 on the ecm connector.
Quite the challenge getting that sensor out

Have you looked for a replacement pigtail?
Snip solder shrink wrap done. They usually come with a bunch of extra wire so that should not be an issue..

Assumed 3.5 V6 for all wheel drive XE

Have replacement pigtail, just not enough room to snip-solder-shrinkrap, without pulling the exhaust, and those bolts do not look like they're going to play nice. if you've done this procedure before, you know what i'm talking about

I have not done this procedure, apparently thankfully.

Can you cut off the burned connector, unweave the wiring out to a place where you do have access, then solder an extra length of appropriate wire onto each of the three wires ?

Basically extend each of the wires as long as you need to to give you the slack you need. You might have to use some type of clip to keep them up off the exhaust once they are lengthened but as I mentioned I have not done this before. I would think there would be a way with the connector cut off to get the rest of the wiring out of there. Then once you have the extensions soldered and wrapped, and threaded back through, then you solder on the pigtail. If you do it this way give yourself a good amount of slack then manage the wire afterwards

I should add that the CKP usually has a resistance of somewhere between 600 and a thousand ohms. It's running a 5 volt line, a reference for the 5 volt, and the CKP signal itself.

The small amount of resistance that you are adding with these extensions shouldn't matter in this case. As long as the connections are rock solid,

What i'm looking for is the color code to the connector pin out. I know their pink/white, grey/blk, and white/blk, just don't know which pin they go to on the ckp connector

See my link to charm.li above. It shows you which terminal is which, then the functionality of each of the three wires along with their color coding
