i just bought a used 2005 Saturn Vue 2.2 L , recently there is a whistling sound every time i accelerate or step on the gas petal but it stops when i use the breaks or come to a stop when at red lights/ stop signs.Can anyone give me a solution for this problem?

 

Probably wheel bearing.

 

Can you find any newly paved roads around you? That is the best place to troubleshoot vehicle noises. Wheel bearing noises are much easier to diagnose when the road noise disappears. Coast in neutral and slowly rock the steering from side to side and see if the noise changes.
