Left turn signal “freezes” when brake lights come on.
I’ve been having a problem where the Left turn signal “freezes” when the brake lights come on. The left front turn signal also illuminates (and freezes) when turning left with the brakes applied. Is this common?
Since it happens in both front and back for turn signal behavior on that side, I'm assuming the brake light is a 2057 double filament parking running light and turn signal is a separate bulb.
Thought is they share a common ground splice pack or used to -- but now the turn signal bulb is receiving both the current mediated by the flasher + the steady current that goes through the brake light filament. Which would seemingly imply that current flowing through the bulb when braking flows out of the brake light bulb and through the turn signal bulb instead of to ground.
Not sure whether that spice pak is though.
Just a guess

Charm shows the ground splice pack (G401) for the left rear bulbs. Saturn Vue grounds
