Hi there, I'm new. I am trying to decide whether to get the 2006 manual stick shift or the V6 automatic. I have found tons of reviews on the V6, but hardly any on the manual.

Anybody out there got an opinion? How do they hold up? I'm leasing, so it should be under warranty and I'll only be committed for 3 years. But still, I have a small child that I need to protect.

Thanks,

Jill Ann

Personaly i would pick the manual if you can drive it good without worries but if you have a kid and want saftey maybejust get the auto so less to worry about when having your kid in the car and you can pay more attention if thats a problem

I think since its a lease you don't have to worry about the mechanical problems, thatI would go with the auto just for convienience... unless its going to drive your rates way up.

i hope you dont drive alot. I had to drive 45 min to and from work every day for 4 months this car is uncomfortable, not only do your legs feel odd but the arm rests are not at the right heights. Very uncomfortable

Well lets see.............You can only get the 2.2 4cly if you get the 5 speed. A fine engine it is but a bit under powered in the VUE if you live in a hilly area. Your going to keep the car only for the lease period no worry on warranty. My wife has the AWD V/6 and loves it.
