I have a 2008 Saturn Vue EX. HVAC Blower motor isnt coming on at all when i turn it on. I just got this car and have been fixing some things on it. This is what I have done so far, in terms of diagnosing and replacing things.

replacements

-New Blower Motor

-New Blower Motor Resistor


multi meter tests

-Verified 40 amp fuse that controls hvac/blower works (fuse box under hood)

-Verified all switchs that control hvac system work (fuse box under hood)

-verified 15 amp AC fuse works (passanger compartment fuses).

-Also verified New blower motor works and did current test.


After all this, blower motor still will not kick on.

maybe a wire harness is bad??

any suggestions or any recomendations anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

Check the ground for it. I am not sure about the vues, especially the second gens, but the ions had an issue with the ground not being enough and randomly burning up.

Could try running a secondary ground for it
