Front end shudders?

I'm at where youre at. Completetly rebuilt the front end including control arms, but did not replace cv or rack and pinion. I have 240,000miles on my 2006 Vue. I know its one or the other. I have had a tear in my CV boot for over a couple years, so likely it may be going out anyways, but the clunks and shudder's you describe I have as well when i hit bumps at low speeds. The only other symptom i have is a vibration that shows up around 75mph. I believe it's my rack and pinion
