I have a 2009 Saturn vue all wheel drive when I start the car immediately it displays warnings about traction control off service stabilitrak check transmission fluid and service all wheel drive I just bought the car and I have not ran diagnostic on it yet but plan to immediately any advice as what could cause this so The local part store do not sell me part I don't need I like to start out with the cheaper parts first to see if might be that

Shotgunning parts is expensive. Googling the internet is not. Nor is asking us.

The codes are the key to solving the mystery. Please post them as Pxxxx, Bxxxx Uxxxx or Cxxxx where x is a number. Please post the actual codes, not the description of the code.

Check transmission fluid sounds like your transmission fluid is low. It is a complete pain in the *** to check but needs to be done.

Messages like service stabilitrak and service AWD sound like mileage triggered messages for maintenance. I wrecked my 2008 Vue before I say any of those. Traction control being disabled usually also throws an ABS problem as the two systems are linked. Surprised there is no ABS code.

Again please post the codes and we will take it from there.

Just for the heck of it, pull your EGR valve and check it. I had the same thing happen with a POS Chevy Equinox I had and it was the EGR valve. How it's connected to the Stabilitrak is still a mystery to me to this day. Nobody could explain it, but when I replaced it and cleared the codes, the lights never came back on. I got rid of that pile of junk.

Just before our temperatures dropped to the -30, we had above freezing weather and on one very slushy day the wife's Vue did that and went into limp mode. When she got home, complaining, like it was my fault I went and started it and it was back to normal. I plugged in the OBD reader and it was logged in as a fault with the ABS/Traction control, so we figured it may have just been the buildup of the slush/snow all through the wheel wells. Now we are in the -30s and there is no problem
