The forum flags stuff to be moderated if it trips the auto spam filter. I can see that as a mod and I release it. Know I know why there was a duplicate w slightly different wording.
A failed heater circuit can wink the 10 amp fuse. I have a 2007 F350 that has had o2 heater codes on sensor 2 several times when it was new. After the third sensor I have never had another problem with any codes. The truck is in the shop getting a new engine and a rear diff rebuild now at 275k. Needs to be a productive member of society for a few more years.
Oh no guys..check engine light back on! I did pull the E3 fuse but this time it is INTACT. Its raining hard out so i haven't been able to check the other fuses or get the code read again.
Not sure if this is related but the AC was having issues last year. My wife found some fix where you hold in the AC and recirculate button and this somehow fixes the AC. It did work too, and this year she started trying this again . Yesterday she was driving the car and said she got the AC to start working again with this method but it again stopped working.
Not sure if its related..ill have to see what CEL its throwing now. If it comes back O2 sensors again im going to torch the car!
Hi guys.. could use some input here if anyone has any ideas. After driving 60 miles im getting P0059. Pulled the battery cable for a few hours and drive again, same result. I already did BOTH 02 sensors... any ideas??
It says it's usually bad O2 sensor, wiring or connectors, fuse, or ECM. You've already replaced the sensor and the fuse (check the fuse again), so you'll need to inspect the wiring and connectors thoroughly. If you can't find anything there, get a good diagnostic technician to check before you spring for another ECM.
If you got your O2 sensors at the Zone, Advance or O'Reilly, I'm betting you have a defective one. Which one? I have no idea. I won't buy any kind of sensors from any of the cheap chain stores. I'll usually try NAPA first and if they don't have it, dealership.
Thanks for the reply... i know it was a Bosch sensor, cost me around 25 bucks on EBAY. I think this is it..im wondering if i should reinstall the old OEM sensor as that wasnt the issue , the fuse was.
UPDATE - i found the OEM sensor for 38 bucks on RockAuto but this is confusing..is my issue the upstream or downstream sensor? All the articles i read are EFFING confusing..
