Default 2008 Vue Power steering return line

Power steering return line will not stay attached. This is an old picture, since this I have replaced the hose and the clamp with a fuel injection clamp. How far does the hose go onto the fitting, all the way over the ridges? Any help would be appreciated.

3.5L V6.

Seems worth it to just get a new one.

This doesn't seem to be what I'm dealing with. There is a longer section of low pressure hose that I need to reconnect. I have a new piece but I can't get the clamps on either end to hold. Was this piece originally connected a different way or do I need to get the end to slide further on the fitting over the ridges?

If it was mine (and it ISN'T), I'd slide the hose past the ridges and put the clamps behind the ridges.

I don’t see which engine but here are a couple. One is for the 3.5 and the other is for the 3.6. Clamps will not hold without a bulb or barb. Even with low return pressure.

I guessed 3.5 L V6, as 2.2 did not have any of that black hose at the end.

Mine is pipe to reservoir

Andy's is gear to reservoir and is in all likelihood the part you are looking for.

Disregard my post above.

I think he has the top one in my post. It has a crimp end that covers the rib shown in his picture.
