2008 Saturn Vue Hard Starts + Smells like gas

I replaced the purge valve solenoid just to be safe. For the 1st couple of days it was fine.Now, the same problem has returned. The good thing is, there is no longer a gas smell coming from my exhaust, but now the smell is coming from my engine area, through my vents at initial startup.
You need to check the canister and blow out the lines.

When replacing a purge valve we always blow air through the purge line to make sure there are no charcoal pieces in it. If your canister is bad it can allow for pieces of charcoal to get into the line which will cause the valve to stick.
You need to check the canister and blow out the lines.
