I am hoping someone can help me. My 2004 Saturn Vue with a 2.2 engine is revving up the RPMs when I push on the gas pedal but not accelerating. I have no check engine light or any codes coming up at all . Can anyone shed some light as to why this is happening? Any information is greatly appreciated.

 

What type of transmission. The automatic or the CVT?

Have you checked your transmission fluid level?

 

No way of checking fluid level. We were told years ago that it was a sealed transmission. It's an autimatic

We need the model of transmission. CVT is a subset of "automatic" trannys.
