Joined today. 06 Vue 2wd, 208k, V6 auto. Setting up for tow behind motor home. Easy to find used tow bar but need to order base plate from dealer, who needs to know old body or new body style. I believe it is old style but not sure. Can’t find on google and could not come up with anything on forum. Any help would be appreciated.

 

2004-2007 v-6 Vue take the same mounting brackets. This is the model with the Honda designed engine. The Roadmaster tow bar site is very easy to use. This is according to Roadmaster tow bars site. I have Roadmaster equipment on my Saturn L200 to flat tow behind my motorhome. They are based in the Northwest.

 

They may also be referring to 1st generation vs 2nd generation. 2nd generation is 2008 to 2010. First generation is everything before that.
