Default Tow Dolly, moving Sky or Solstice...

Has anybody used a tow dolly to move their Sky/Solstice? If you put them on backwards, then you wouldn't have to remove the drive shaft. I've done this with Fiero's in the past (the steering wheel locks in and I used the the seatbelt around it for added security) and had good luck. I was just wondering if there is something with the Kappa platform that would prevent me from doing this?

Similar to this....

Is it legal to tow a rear engine car like that? I don't know, I'm just wondering.

As far as I know, there's nothing wrong with reverse-towing. I think the only thing you need by law are extra brake lights on the car. As long as you have the drive wheels off the ground, you don't have to worry about the drivetrain. Hopefully the steering wheels will lock straight, otherwise it'll be a wild wiggle or crabbing!

as long as the steering wheel locks and you have another method to ensure its locked I wouldnt see a problem with it. if your renting a trailer a full on car trailer may be the way to go if the sky isnt too low. I would do alittle more research cause I think ive seen them flat-towed behind campers

if renting, just get the bed. Its like an extra 10 dollars from uhaul, and don't have to remove body panels like I did with a dolly.
