My 92 year old step father has decided to sell his motor home and stop traveling. He has a 2006 Ion. Beige exterior, 62,000 miles. It was towed behind his motor home 99% of the time. I don't know much more about it other than he seemed to baby it a lot. Looks good and runs good. He is asking $5000.00 PM me if you have any questions and I will pass them on to him.

 

to aid in this, get the vin and call/take it to a gm dealer. they can tell you which model , engine, etc so that you can add to the description -without bugging your stepfather.

That's not a valid vin.

Have him read it to you from the car's registration certificate while using a magnifying glass. 0's look like O's , 1's look like I's etc. Not making fun of old peoples' vision -- but by the time you're 92 your vision just ain't that good.

When you get the vin, try the vin decoder on this site -- it's under the Tools menu. There are other ones out there on the net. No idea which is the most accurate.
